Federico Macheda once again become supersub for Manchester United after scoring another winning goal yesterday. Three point from Stadium of light secure United place at the top of the table as Liverpool also get a big win 4-0 over Balckburn yesterday.

In that game, United start leading at the first half when Paul Scholes score great goal from header. That goal not break black cat spirit to find an equalizer. Jones at last found the net after Ben Foster cant beat the cross. Macheda comes at 76 minutes and score the winning goal for the red devil after just 45 second on the pitch. That was amazing for the 17 years old boy. United now prepare for the second clash with Porto on this wednesday. They need to win to booked a place on semis.

Thanks to own goal by Xabi Alonso and the other one is from Turkey forward, Sanli Tuncay at the 64 minutes.

This result meant Liverpool are still withh 55 points which seven behind the leaders Manchester United with one game ahead. If Manchester create another win when the visit Newcastle United on 4 March the gap will wide to 10 points.

Yesterday match also seeing Chelsea move to second spot of the table after late goal from Lampard secure them another 3 points which is the third consecutive win under the new coach Guss Hiddink. With 55 points and the goal advantage the Blues now climb another step at premier league table. Hiddink will kept giving pressure to United for the title race. With 11 games left for this season anothing can be happen.

What a shocked news today . After almost poor result they create at home match this season which make them lost 16 points, Chelsea at last sensationally sacked their Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.

The Brazilian, who ever won world cup with brazil and also bring Portugal to EURO final on 2004 has joined the Chelsea last summer. He was expected to reinvigorate the club’s fortunes and lead them to titles at home and in Europe, but after a poor run of form the axe has fallen. At this moment his job are taken by Ray Wilkins on a temporary basis until a full-time replacement can be appointed.

A statement on the Chelsea website read: “Luiz Felipe Scolari has been dismissed as manager of Chelsea Football Club today (Monday) with immediate effect. The Chelsea board would like to place on record our gratitude for his time as manager.

“Felipe has brought many positives to the club since he joined and we all feel a sense of sadness that our relationship has ended so soon. Unfortunately the results and performances of the team appeared to be deteriorating at a key time in the season.

A few candidate has been talked will replace him including their last replacement manager, Avram Grant.T he other name thought to be on Chelsea’s list is Russia’s national team coach, Guus Hiddink and also ex Inter Milan coach, Mancini. Who really will taking this hot seat we just wait and see.

Wenger said he had admired Arshavin for a long time. “He is a versatile player with great experience, who will add real quality to our squad. Andrei is an exciting impact player with a huge amount of ability and has been an influential force with both Zenit St Petersburg and the Russian national team in recent seasons.”

Arshavin added: “I am so happy to be joining Arsenal. They are one of the leading football clubs in the world, with a group of fantastic young players and a great manager. I am looking forward to making the Arsenal supporters happy and helping this great club win trophies.”

However Arshavin cant help Arsenal in the Champions League campaign this season as he played for Zenit in the group stage. The Russian will wear the number 23 shirt at his new club which ever wear by Sol Cambell before.

Two late goal from Fernando Torres secure 3 point for Liverpool last night. Worst result for Chelsea who lose their playmaker, Frank Lampard in that game after 60 minutes. Now Liverpool just within 2 point of Manchester United at the top of table.

Actually this game looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw until Torres rose to head home Fabio Aurelio’s cross in the 89th minute. One minutes later the Spaniard make his second goal in the game which is really close Chelsea hope to find an equalizer.

This is the second defeat for Chelsea to Rafa Benitez’s men this season. Great achievement for them because the last time the men from Anfield did the double over Chelsea was in Liverpool’s last Championship-winning season, 1989/90.

It’s a good omen for Liverpool fans, but there’s still a long way to go in this season’s title race and United, two points clear and with a game in hand, still have the upper hand.

Manchester United wide the point between other two strong contender Chelsea and Liverpool , after secure thier 12 consecutive league win over Everton last night. They only managed to score one goals over the Toffies after the referee award penalty at the end of first half. Before Chelsea and Liverpool clash at Anfield today, the devils already collect 53 point that mean any result today wil not affected their standing in EPL table.

Ferguson’s side have amassed 32 points from a possible 36, which is much better than the chasing pack and most definitely championship form. The hosts dominated the match and racked up a 12th successive clean sheet, allowing goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to break the English league football record for the most minutes without conceding a goal.

His tally now stands at 1,122 minutes having not conceded since Samir Nasri scored in the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on 8th November.

Another dissapoint result for Rafa Benitez after his boys just manage to draw with Wigan yesterday. Yossi Benayoun give the visitor one goal ahead in the first half with his well finishing. However, they has been deny to grab away win when Mido who play his debut after come on load fro Middlesbrough stepped up and dispatched a late penalty to grab a draw, after Jason Koumas was fouled. This result make them down to third place in the league after Chelsea secure another home win. If Manchester United win over Everton this saturday the gap will wide to 5 point.

At Stamford Bridge Salamon Kalou’s double not just gave the Blues a valuable point after wiinning 2-0 over Middlesbrough but also bring them to second place on the table after Liverpool games end with draw.Boro failed to clear Frank Lampard’s corner and Kalou lashed a volley into the roof of the net after 58 minutes. At the 81st minute the Ivory Coast international score another goal and sealed the win with a close-range header.

Another result yesterday is 1-1 draw between Everton and Arsenal. Late equaliser from Van Persie award one point to the Gunners but the point gap with Aston Villa become widely.

Manchester United set another victory yesterday when send down West Brom 5-0 at the Hawthorns Stadium. This is another great 5-0 victory and they also create another record when not conceded any singles goal after 11 match. Credit to Van der Sar and their back four.

As referee Rob Styles raised his whistle to his lips at The Hawthorns on Tuesday 27th January 2009, a Premier League record was broken. All the goal are from from Dimitar Berbatov, Carlos Tevez, Nemanja Vidic and a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo sealed a 5-0 victory over West Brom at The Hawthorns , who had their skipper Paul Robinson sent-off just before half-time.

While it was certainly true to say they were missing some key performers, including Wayne Rooney, Patrice Evra and Anderson, they were boosted by the return of Rio Ferdinand at the heart of the defence for the first time since the Club World Cup final. Ji-sung Park was also available after a hamstring strain had kept him out of the FA Cup win over Spurs, as was Cristiano Ronaldo who had been forced off with a virus in the latter stages of the cup win. Wes Brown, meanwhile, was named on the bench following three months on the sidelines with an ankle problem.

After the match, Ferguson was quick to praise the 38-year-old goalkeeper for his role in the feat. Of the Dutch shot stopper, the manager said: “Edwin Van der Sar, who has achieved everything in the game, is as delighted as when he saved that penalty kick in Moscow during the Champions League final.

“He was over the moon in the dressing room and that tells you his desire. He has still got that ambitious streak and wants to win all the time.”
